Snow melt update

There is only a few inches left of snow in town… but the trails (at the watershed) are at a bit higher elevation and are still filled with about a foot of snow.

Melting

It seems to get up to 40 degrees most days here in Frederick, MD(45 min north of Washington DC)… melting is occurring… but there is still another 15” to go before I can see grass…i am getting anxious to ride again... what we need to speed things up is some hot weather…

it had snowed the night beforetrails were still 95 percent ridable.
the sky was glowing orange... weird
had a good time... i plan on doing more of these rides
